Canvas is a learning management system. A learning management system is a digital learning environment. Canvas, along with additional tools and apps available to staff, provides a robust platform to support teachers establishing their online presence, developing instructional content, providing effective feedback, and collaborating with their colleagues.Teachers, students, and parents have different access and abilities within the Canvas platform. Parents are observers to the classes and can follow along via computer or from the Canvas Parent Apps that are downloaded from your devices' store i.e. Google Store or the Apple App Store.
